Who Shouldn’t Become a Virtual Assistant
A lot of the time, when I talk about becoming a virtual assistant, the attention is on those who are already thinking about becoming a VA and who would be likely to find success in the field. However, not everyone is cut out to become a virtual assistant – and here are some clues that indicate it might not be the best field for you.
You might not want to look at becoming a virtual assistant if:
- You are looking for a job that’s going to require minimal effort. After all, when you become a virtual assistant, you not only have a job to do for your clients, but also you are going to find that you have all the behind the scenes work as well.
- You don’t want to answer to anyone. Providing great customers service to your clients is (sometimes) like making sure that your boss is happy – after all, you want to be sure that they keep coming back.
- You think that becoming a virtual assistant is going to put you in a position in which everything always goes your way. Simply put, there are going to be snags – having a support system in place will help to minimize them, but they may still be there.
So who should become a virtual assistant? Those of you who recognize that putting effort into running a business will pay off and who know that they’re going to be able to consistently give 110% will find that the choice is something to be really, really happy about.
