Virtual assistants run their businesses from afar; a website that is used for virtual assistant marketing is key for a number of reasons:

  3. The website that you use for virtual assistant marketing is something that you can use to enable your prospective clients to ask questions and clear things up before making a huge commitment (and will help you to gather leads).
  4. The website that you use for VA marketing gives you a chance to show off your professionalism, your skills and to highlight your abilities.

In other words, having a website is essential for marketing your virtual assistant business. Can you have a VA business and not have a website? It is possible, however you will find that you are able to accomplish much more when you do have a presence on the web.

    Kandra, you are so right! I would also add that even though having a website is a must, having it look professional is what will get you the clients.
    Nowadays, VAs are up against a lot of competition and I have heard time and time again from prospective clients that a VAs website helped them in their decision-making.
    Here are a few points: make sure your graphics are professional and not granulated or fuzzy; make sure you have contact information listed somewhere as well as a privacy policy; I would add a recent professional photo of yourself. Because our world is virtual, putting a face to a name in this business is always a big plus! Optional is to post your rates – many times a prospective client will pass you by if s/he cannot see the rates. I know many of my peers disagree, but I think it’s a good idea.
