Running a VA Business: Being There for Your Clients
Thursday, July 24th, 2008When you are running a VA business, one of the things that you are going to want to be sure that you are aware of is fairly simple: while you’re running a VA business, you’re going to want to be sure that you are there for your clients.
That doesn’t just mean that you are going to want to focus on answering the phone when they call or replying to email. Being there for your clients is going to involved getting the work done - and doing it to the best of your ability. It’s also going to mean knowing and understanding that sometimes you are going to need to take time for yourself.
That may mean that, one evening each week you schedule a movie night with your family and that you stick with it (especially if it helps you to clear your head); it may mean too that you need to be sure that you schedule a vacation from time to time.
By making the time for yourself while you are running a VA business, you’ll find that it’s a lot easier to be there for your clients. When you’re able to keep your head in the game, you’ll be sure to keep dong your best work.
