One of the things that is really interesting about getting started with running a VA business is that it’s hard to know what to expect. After all, while a lot of the work isn’t all that different from what you had been doing, but that doesn’t mean that you’ve had experience with running a business before – and that’s where some of the challenges come in.

When you’re running a VA business, you’ll find that there are a always going to be things that come up that surprise you. You may be caught off guard when you get a phone call from someone who heard about your services from one of your clients – even after you said that there wasn’t time in your schedule to add anyone else in. You might be caught off guard by the amount that you pay in taxes, or you might not know how to get yourself out of a jam when you took off a bigger project than you knew how to handle.

When you find yourself completely caught off guard by something that happens while you are running a VA business, it’s important to be able to take a deep breath and relax. It’s also essential that you know where to turn when you need help running your VA business.

Even when you don’t know what to expect while running your VA business, if you know where to turn you’ll find that you are able to handle all of those little unexpected things that come up along the way. You’ll find that you are able to look at things a bit more calmly, to get perspective and to get the answers that you’re looking for and to know the best way of handling the situation – whatever it may be.
