If you’ve been thinking about becoming a virtual assistant, chances are good that you’ve been doing a few things. First, there’s a good chance that you’ve started talking about becoming a VA with a few family members and friends and have been asked what exactly it is that a virtual assistant is. There’s a good chance that you’ve been looking into opening a business of your own because you recognize that having a virtual assistant business does mean working for yourself.

But what about all the little things? When you’ve been looking into becoming a virtual assistant chances are good that you’ve been thinking about all of the things that you’ll still need to do:

1. learn more about marketing your services
2. learn the best way to explain what you do to clients
3. keep the books for your business
4. draw up a business plan
5. determine which services that you’re going to offer

More or less, all of the little things that go along with becoming a virtual assistant can be summed up in the following way: there’s going to be some business training that will be really beneficial – and will help to ensure that when you get started as a VA, you’re heading down the right path.
