Running a VA Business: Keeping Your Clients Up to Date

Saturday, March 1st, 2008

When you’re running a VA business, on of the things that you’re going to find essential is keeping your clients up to date about how things are going on their projects. When you’re doing a fair amount of writing projects, marketing work, photo editing and similar tasks, one of the best things that you can do is to share files – especially when you want to be sure that your clients are able to have input on changs that have been made or will be made.

Communicating and staying in touch with your clients is essential for running a VA business – at least if you want to be sure that you’re keeping your clients and growing your business. There are a number of things that you will be able to do to simplify this process (and a lot of them will be available to you when you join a great VA network and are able to take advantage of what they have learned).

You can make it a point to talk with your clients on a regular basis and discuss your options and exchange files – that’s one option. Another is to look for an online file storage solution where you can password protect your documents or work on them together. The key isn’t so much in determining what your options mught be, it’s in finding the one that will work best for you while you’re running your VA business.
